Yrs 5/6 Girls Football Team played some impressive football against other local schools with an overall good team performance.
Last week saw a group of Year 5 and 6 girls travel to Thirsk High School to compete in a girls' football competition. The girls all played very well and persevered despite a rather cold wind! We saw some impressive teamwork by Amelia and Betsy in defence, and our goalie made an incredible save in goal off a penalty. Top goal-scorers were Tori and Emily.
Well done, girls, on a good team performance.
